This is my first technical tutorial

I am going to explain why I choose this name in another post, for now let me tell you why I decided to start this journey.

I am a “very-part” time professional photographer, in the sense that I have been earning money with photography but I never had the opportunity or the actual drive to go full time. The idea to take it full time has always been in my mind since I had the first camera in my hand.  I certainly have a great passion for photography and its potentials as a creative and communication media however, I never quite made up my mind about if working full time as professional photographer would really be feasible, sustainable economically and in which direction I would take my photography to achieve that.

The latter is actually  the main issue which prevented me to take actions until now. I love photography, I love carving meaning with light expressing my point of view and feelings with a picture. I love to be able to tell stories using still imaging, I love the ability to keep and refresh memories, I love to express myself as an artist, I love to be able to freeze a split of a second and to communicate a life long emotion, I love to light up emotions into other peoples eyes. So I like too many aspects of photography and that has been a major factor in slowing down my growth toward a full time profession.

I have decided than to take action and move forward.

The quest I am going to address in these pages is what part of photography is more me, what I feel most the need for, and hopefully doing that and sharing with you the path to discover the photographer in me I will be able to make up my mind and decide what to do with it.

I intend to discover and fuel my photo-drive and in doing so improve myself as a photographer. I hope you will find this journey interesting and you will want to follow me and grow with me, supporting me.

I will take you through my workflow, share with you what I learn with tutorial in photoshop and lightroom, I will discuss and showcase my personal projects, present the books I like and the photographer I admire the work of. Share with you the photo resources I find interesting and be open to accept all the comments and critics you might want to share with me about my work.

In doing so I will hopefully, discover myself and meet a lot of fellow photographer to share the passion with.
